CALL's Idol Family Fellowship

The 2021 Idol Family Summer Fellows Program application is due on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 11:59pm EST. Idol Fellows intern full-time over the summer and have access to participate in professional development seminars, networking opportunities, and personalized career coaching. Fellows receive a generous stipend to cover summer expenses. Apply here!

Keeping it Real: Faculty Conversation Series with Prof. Rifkin

Come listen to Madeleine Gibbons-Shapiro (COL '21) and Prof. Libbie Rifkin (Teaching Professor, Department of English and Program in Disability Studies, Special Advisor for Disability to the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) talk on Instagram live. They will talk about transitions, challenges, and how they got to where they are.

FOCI Leader Application

FOCI, CSJ's pre-orientation program focused on service, social justice activism, community-building and engagement in DC, is seeking leaders for their 2021 program. No prior experience with FOCI required. More information and the application can be found at csj.georgetown.edu/foci. Final deadline is 11:59PM EST on Sunday, February 21. ESCAPE First-Year Retreats

ESCAPE is a first-year transition and reflection program designed to create a space for students to get to know their classmates and engage in conversation about their transition to Georgetown. Small groups, led by upper class mentors, foster a sense of meaning and belonging throughout the retreat as well as the rest of your Georgetown. Visit here to register.

The Cawley Career Education Center's annual Government, Education & Non-Profit Career Fair brings top employers to students and alumni for internships and full-time jobs in the government, education and non-profit sectors. GRLA x Diplomasea: A Masterclass Series

The masterclasses will be each Friday at 12:00 p.m. EST from February 19th until March 12th and will give participants the opportunity to learn more about Georgetown alumni Maria Devaney and her mission to bring retail, diplomacy and sustainability together. By the end of the course, you will become an expert in connecting countries and cultures through the common language of fashion & beauty, building a global mind-set, and celebrating a commitment to solve climate change. Please sign up here. 

Cities and Climate Change

Interested in learning more about how climate change is influencing urban cities around the globe? The Georgetown Global Cities Initiative and GUSA Sustainability co-organized an interactive conversation between faculty members and students to discuss the role of cities in climate change and the impact climate change might have in urban areas.
