To mark the intersection of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas will present, “Toward a More Just Future: Expanding Our Moral Imaginary Beyond the White Gaze.” Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas is Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary. Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas will explore the role of Black women in the church followed by a moderated discussion with Rev. Ebony Grisom, Interim Director of Protestant Ministry. A Conversation with R.F Kuang
Rebecca F. Kuang (SFS’18) is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Poppy War trilogy and Babel: An Arcane History. We are excited to host R.F Kuang for a conversation about her books, the impact of her experiences at Georgetown, her post-grad studies of Chinese history and East Asian languages. The event will be moderated by Atharv Gupta who was recently awarded the Rhodes Scholarship.
