CALL Info Sessions

Get off the Hilltop and immerse yourself into DC for Fall 2023! CALL Info Sessions will cover what life is like downtown - from special course experiences to internship opportunities to housing at 55 H St. It is a truly transformational semester. Register to attend via Campus Groups.

GOLD Mentor Applications Due!

The GOLD Leadership and Beyond Mentor applications for Summer 2023 are live! Mentors will act as guides for incoming first-year students, and will help them navigate their first semester on the Hilltop. Applications are due on Thursday, March 16 at 11:59pm - we hope to see all of you apply!

Gwendolyn Mikell Award for Womxn's Empowerment

Apply for the Gwendolyn Mikell Award for Womxn's Empowerment, a collaboration between the SIPS Fund of the Center for Social Justice and GU's B.R.A.V.E. Summit to award an undergraduate student from any school or an alum (since 2001) $1,000 for their contributions to womxn's empowerment. Due by 5pm ET on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Link here.

UNXD 030 Intersections of Social Justice

UNXD 030 Intersections of Social Justice - a summer 2023 online, 1-credit, pass/fail, asynchronous course over 8 weeks that connects Hoyas with community through critical reflection about your work or volunteer placement anywhere in the world! Lunch Break with the Student Ombuds

A Conversation with R.F Kuang

Rebecca F. Kuang (SFS’18) is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Poppy War trilogy and Babel: An Arcane History. We are excited to host R.F Kuang for a conversation about her books, the impact of her experiences at Georgetown, her post-grad studies of Chinese history and East Asian languages. The event will be moderated by Atharv Gupta who was recently awarded the Rhodes Scholarship.

Senior Class Committee 2024 Applications Due!

Applications are now live for the Senior Class Committee 2024 Board! Apply now to one of the board positions to manage senior class events, including Senior Ball. Applications are due on Monday, March 20th!

Council of Advisory Board Applications are Open!!

We are excited to announce that applications for The Council of Advisory Boards (CAB) applications are now open on Campus Groups. This board plans the CAB Fair in both the Fall and the Spring and is in charge of supporting the advisory boards in the New Club Development Process. Priority Applications for CAB are due by Friday, March 17 at 11:59pm and can be found here.

JSA Spring Formal

The Jewish Students Association is hosting a Spring Formal on March 25 featuring a DJ, photo booth, desserts, and more! Anyone--Jewish or not--is welcome to attend. Tickets are currently $12, but prices go up after March 20, so buy your tickets here now!

GWOW is Hiring!

Interested in building community and helping new students transition? GWOW team is looking for two student coordinators to build Fall 2023 programming. Coordinators take the lead in managing projects related to the planning and execution of GWOW events and services. Responsibilities may include marketing and graphic design, communications and social media, Welcome Ambassador recruitment and leadership development, fundraising and sponsorship, event logistics and event management, and collaboration with organizations on and off campus. One for Georgetown

One for Georgetown is the annual on-campus giving campaign in which all members in the classes of 2026, 2025, and 2024 are asked to donate just $1 towards scholarships at Georgetown, and are thanked through various daily events during our two and a half week campaign (Wed 3/15/23 to Friday 3/31/23).
