We encourage you to register for our events throughout the month via this eventbrite link. Everyone who registers will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 Levi’s giftcard!

Uyghur Genocide: Breaking the Silence

The Uyghur people, an ethnic minority group living in China's Xinjiang province, are facing a humanitarian crisis. Reports suggest that over a million Uyghurs are being detained in so-called "re-education" camps, and subjected to forced labor, torture, and other forms of human rights abuses. In response to this crisis, we are hosting an awareness event to shed light on the Uyghur genocide and discuss ways in which we can take action to support this community. The event will feature a keynote speech by Kabir Qurban, a Uyghur activist and community leader. Kabir will share his personal story and experiences, as well as discuss the current situation facing the Uyghur people.
