Tickets on Sale for (no) pressure: the Asian American Musical

TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Come see (no) pressure, Georgetown's first-ever Asian American musical, showing for two nights ONLY on Thursday, April 20th and Friday, April 21st. Early bird tickets currently being sold here at $12, to increase to $15 starting April 11th for general admission. (no) pressure follows five Asian American students at the fictional Potomac University and features a combined cast and crew of over 100 students with an original script, original songs, live band, and original documentary.

Denim & Gray Day

Your favorite Denim & Gray Day is on April 26th! Stop by Copley Lawn from 11am-3pm to grab a donut, take a polaroid, paint some jeans with The Maker Hub or thrift a new pair from Georgetown REUSE! This Denim Day, be sure to wear your denim to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence. Don’t forget to tag us @gu_sape to tell us #whydenim on #denimandgray. GEMA x Prospect x WGTB First Annual Spring Benefit Concert

GEMA, Prospect Records, and WGTB are teaming up to hold the first ever annual Spring Benefit Concert on Friday, April 21st featuring Georgetown artists! In partnership with GUASFCU and The Corp, all proceeds from the night will go to the GU 272+ Descendant Scholarship. The concert will take place from 8pm-10:30pm at Black Box at Crescendo Studios in Falls Church, VA. A complimentary shuttle service can take students to and from the event. Free non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. You can purchase tickets here.

Milk & Cookies

Join the Center for Student Engagement for Milk & Cookies this semester! Come to Leavey 316 on the Wednesdays listed from 3-4pm for free cookies, merch giveaways, and the chance to meet CSE staff. This week, Jack the Bulldog will be there, too!

Sexual Assault Awareness Month Programming

Each year, SAPE, together with Health Education Services and University co-sponsors, hosts programming for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) to engage the Georgetown community with the issue of sexual violence and uplift survivor voices on campus. Recognizing queer students are disproportionately impacted by instances of sexual violence and harassment, the theme for this year's programming will be The Intersection of Sexual Violence with Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation. We encourage you to register for our events throughout the month via this eventbrite link. Everyone who registers will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 Levi’s giftcard!

Jumpstart Spring Fling

Volunteer for our activity fair and work with kids in the Anacostia Community! Help out with literacy, arts & crafts, STEM, and health & wellness activities while families learn about community resources. The first shift leaves campus at 11:30 AM and returns to campus no later than 3:30 PM. The second shift leaves campus at 2:00 PM and returns to campus no later than 6:00 PM. Keynote Speaker Marlee Liss: "Restorative Justice for Sexual Harm: Why I Fought for a Circle, Not a Courtroom"

On April 12th, Sexual Assault Peer Educators (SAPE) is hosting a keynote event with Marlee Liss, “Restorative Justice for Sexual Harm: Why I Fought for a Circle, Not a Courtroom.” The focus of this event is to inspire folks to imagine a vision of justice that is synonymous with healing through informative storytelling. In an environment rooted in hope and empowerment, listeners learn about a justice pathway that breaks cycles of harm and ignites cycles of healing. See you in the Copley Formal Lounge at 5:30PM! Creating an Equitable City

Creating an Equitable City: CALL and the Kalmanovitz Initiative are excited to announce a three-year examination into Creating an Equitable City, with a focus on Washington, DC.
