Our mission is to encourage and empower Georgetown students to give back to the Hilltop. We believe that philanthropy at Georgetown includes: participation, loyal giving, and giving to areas on campus you care about. By building a habit of contributing what we can, we aim to foster the Jesuit value of service to others. The 1634 Society also seeks to celebrate traditions here at Georgetown. By hosting a number of signature events on campus each year, including Traditions Day, a component of Homecoming Weekend, we help keep the history of Georgetown alive with each new class. Lastly, the 1634 Society works to connect students and alumni to one another. Through alumni panels and networking sessions, we provide students the opportunity to learn from those who came before them and to make fellow Hoya connections.

We, the Abolition Advocacy Project (AAP), are law students advocating, empowering local
movements, and educating fellow law students at Georgetown University Law Center to abolish
systemic injustices on which Washington, D.C., and United States legal institutions are built and
perpetuate.
We aim to challenge the status quo, integrate abolitionist aims into our legal education, and
engage with the broader DMV community through coalition building, collaboration, and
grassroots organizing. Our values of anti-racism, justice, and equity guide us. We strive to create
an inclusive and just society where the law makes us all safe and free, regardless of race, gender,
ability, education level, nationality, religion, sexuality, incarceration, socioeconomic or
immigration status, or any other identity marker.

The ABCS is composed of seven undergraduate student members who are appointed by the outgoing Advisory Board. ABCS supervises the overall administration and effectiveness of Club Sports. The Advisory Board for Club Sports advises those Club Sports teams that have access to benefits and determines which new clubs will be granted access to benefits under University policy. ABCS funds and develops policy for the governance of all Club Sports under its jurisdiction.

AASV combats sexual violence and rape culture through education, advocacy, and systemic reform. The organization is committed to inclusiveness and recognizes that sexual violence is a communal harm. Students in AASV examine the legal and social underpinning of sexual violence and rape culture, shifting and encouraging discourse around gender roles, coercion, and consent in Georgetown University Law Center and the broader law community.

The After School Kids (ASK) Program serves at-potential teens in the DC metropolitan area who are making positive strides in their lives and to be catalysts for change in their community. Our youth are adversely impacted by the cradle-to-prison pipeline and may experience obstacles to obtaining their high school diploma, exploring careers, or advancing their postsecondary education. It is not uncommon for our youth to experience chronic trauma exposure, involvement in the court system, and to be over-aged and under-credited. Despite obstacles, our youth envision a brighter future through education, social action, and wellness. ASK provides programming and support to help them realize their vision.

Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is Georgetown's all-gender service & social justice fraternity supported by the Center for Social Justice. The purposes of the ACLU of GULC are:

1. To advance discussion of civil liberties on campus.
2. To advocate respect thereof at all levels of government.
3. To support the local chapters of the ACLU however possible.

We defend and promote the protections encompassed in the Bill of Rights of the Federal Constitution, as well as all other rights that protect inhabitants of this country from unnecessarily unjust or invasive government action.

These purposes shall be achieved by sponsoring speakers and debates on timely subjects, and keeping the campus community apprised of government actions that implicate our civil liberties.

The vision of the American Constitution Society is to realize "the promises of the U.S. Constitution by building and leading a diverse legal community that dedicates itself to advancing and defending democracy, justice, equality, and liberty; to securing a government that serves the public interest; and to guarding against the abuse of law and the concentration of power."

The purpose of this chapter, as a subsidiary of that national organization, is to build and maintain such a legal community at Georgetown University Law Center through programming, activism, scholarship, professional opportunities, and mentorship.

The purpose of the Georgetown Armenian Law Students Association shall be to promote Armenian culture and heritage at GULC, to raise awareness of the 1915 Armenian Genocide on our campus, to assist legislative efforts with other Armenian organizations in Washington D.C. for the purposes of furthering global justice and stemming the consequences of persecution against the community, and to create an environment where students of Armenian and non-Armenian background can come together in order to contribute to making Georgetown a more diverse Law Center.

The Asian American Student Association aims to empower Asian American students and those interested in Asian American affairs at Georgetown by acting as a platform to exchange ideas and experiences and by providing support to the Asian American community in the areas of culture, political awareness, professional development, and community building.

In order promote consciousness of the Asian American narrative and to amplify the voices of those who embody it, the Asian American Student Association is concerned with fostering dialogue and cooperation among Asian organizations at Georgetown, members of the Georgetown community concerned with Asian American issues, and organizations committed to diversity at Georgetown.

The Asian American Student Association serves its community by conducting outreach to the greater community beyond Georgetown, partnering with local organizations that advocate for the civil rights of Asian Americans, and working with the university administration to increase the visibility of the Asian American community at Georgetown University.

It shall be the purpose of APALSA: 1) To create programming designed to foster the academic, social, and professional growth of the Asian Pacific American student body. 2) To serve as a source of support for Asian Pacific American students and the Georgetown University Law Center community. 3) To promote community among Asian Pacific American students, faculty, and staff at the Georgetown University Law Center. 4) To support initiatives designed to promote diversity on the Georgetown University Law Center campus. 5) To encourage solidarity between the Asian Pacific American community and other communities of color at the Georgetown University Law Center. 6) To recruit and retain students of color, especially those who identify as Asian Pacific American. 7) To promote a greater understanding of Asian Pacific American culture and the role our identities play in the legal field.
