It is with a heavy heart that we must share that GUCS Lab #2 scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to ongoing room coordination issues.
Until next week, we are unable to schedule events at Capitol Campus. That said, we’re happy to confirm that our next two GUCS Labs are still scheduled and will be executed as planned with confirmed spaces.
We strongly encourage you to register for our upcoming labs:
⭐️ GUCS Lab #3 – KC7 SOC Lab
This hands-on session will place you in the role of a cyber investigator working through a real-world security case. You’ll learn how SOC analysts analyze logs and threat intelligence, practice investigative thinking beyond Tier 1 alerts, and track your progress live through the KC7 leaderboard.
No prior SOC experience required.
⭐️ GUCS Lab #4 – AI-Driven Packet Analysis with Betty DuBois
Join Betty DuBois, Chief Detective at Packet Detectives, for an engaging, hands-on lab exploring AI-driven packet analysis for identifying performance issues, application failures, and security incidents. Drawing from decades of real investigations and deep involvement in the Wireshark community, Betty makes packet analysis practical and accessible for students at all levels.
You’ll find the registration buttons for both labs below.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about Linux command-line essentials. That lab will be postponed until February, and we look forward to bringing it back then.
Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support of GUCS.
Best regards,
The GUCS Team
