The ABCS is composed of seven undergraduate student members who are appointed by the outgoing Advisory Board. ABCS supervises the overall administration and effectiveness of Club Sports. The Advisory Board for Club Sports advises those Club Sports teams that have access to benefits and determines which new clubs will be granted access to benefits under University policy. ABCS funds and develops policy for the governance of all Club Sports under its jurisdiction.

Club Golf offers students the opportunity to play competitive golf in a fun, relaxed environment. Although we do hold tryouts, we are a co-ed team comprised of individuals of varying skill levels. All team members are invited to participate in weekly practices held at East Potomac Golf Course, as well as various other team activities. We also send a team of eight individuals to compete with other local universities at regional tournaments hosted by the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA), with a chance to qualify for the National Championship each semester. If you are looking to continue playing golf and join a community of golf-enthused Hoyas, Club Golf is right for you!

The Georgetown University Grilling Society, or simply GUGS (the first "g" is soft, as in "genius") was founded in the Summer of 2002 with a few simple goals in mind, to create an organization attractive to Georgetown students who:

- love to grill
- love to cook and eat good food
- want to meet new and exciting people
- want to learn more about the art of grilling
- want to share their knowledge of grilling with others
- want to be a part of a special Georgetown tradition
- want to have a good time

Since its humble beginnings as a 4-person club with one mysteriously-acquired grill, GUGS has grown into one of Georgetown's most popular social collectives. The members come first, fun comes second, while food conveniently binds them together.

Spring of 2004, GUGS was co-named Outstanding Student Organization of the Year. In the fall of 2004, GUGS shared the 1st place award for Best Traditions during the Georgetown Traditions Day competition. It is without a doubt that with the continuing support of our members and fans, the Grilling Society will continue to thrive in the Georgetown community, bringing good food and good atmosphere to students, faculty, administration, and visitors alike!

Our mission is to organize accessible swim instruction specifically designed for children with special needs in the greater DC community. The swim lessons aim to prevent accidental drowning, which is among the leading causes of death for children with intellectual disabilities.
