Lūʻau 2025: Moʻolelo
Details
"Moʻolelo" is a combination of the words moʻo, meaning a series or succession, and ʻōlelo, meaning words. Literally translating to "story," moʻolelo refers to the Native Hawaiian tradition of oral storytelling and the passing down of legends and histories. Moʻolelo convey generational wisdom, genealogies, and traditions, as well as entertainment. At this year's Lūʻau, we hope to share some beloved mo‘olelo from Hawai‘i with the Georgetown community.
