The name of this organization shall be the Middle East and North Africa Forum at Georgetown, known on campus as MENA.

The purpose of this organization shall be:

1. Increase awareness within the Georgetown community about topical regional issues.
2. Provide historical background on contemporaneous regional dynamics.
3. Serve as a forum and facilitator for open, constructive dialogue among the graduate student body.
4. Contribute substance to broader and ongoing foreign policy debate.

GUGAMS is a neutral, apolitical, lay, and inclusive organization, which objective is to serve the Mexican graduate community at Georgetown by:

1.- Encouraging communication and collaboration across the Mexican community throughout the University.

2.- Recognize issues and concerns affecting the Mexican community and provide ways and means of addressing those issues as efficiently as possible.

3.- Organize events that will bring the GUGAMS community together for professional and academic development, as well as social enjoyment.

4.- Foster relations and encourage communication between the GUGAMS community and the Georgetown alumni from Mexico.

5.- Support the implementation of projects by GUGAMS members and affiliates that can further the development of Mexico.

6.- Promote Mexican culture at Georgetown University and in Washington, D.C.

7.- Promote collaborative efforts among GUGAMS, GUMSA, and the rest of the Mexican Student Associations in Washington, D.C., and other universities in the United States.

The mission of GradPride is to create a supportive atmosphere for LGBTQ+ graduate students at Georgetown University and to promote fair treatment of all members of the Georgetown University community. To this end, GradPride will:

Build Community: provide a social venue for LGBTQ students as well as other members of the Georgetown community who are interested in LGBTQ issues.Educate: provide a forum for discussion of LGBTQ issues at Georgetown University and raise awareness of these issues by hosting speakers, panel discussions and similar events.

Affirm: provide community support to LGBTQ students in Georgetown's graduate student community.

Support Interests: promote the safety, well-being and interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning graduate students at Georgetown University by representing these interests vis-a-vis the Georgetown University administration and the larger Georgetown community.

Promote Equality: promote equal treatment of all members of the Georgetown University community regardless of race, color, disability, gender, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, class, and age, and strive to support and work with other Georgetown student groups to achieve this goal.

The Latin American Foreign Service Association will serve and uplift the Georgetown Community and beyond by facilitating educational and professional events, development workshops, networking opportunities, and service projects in the DC area that pertain to Latin America. These events will open the door for meaningful engagement with matters connected to the history, people, culture, and current events of the region.
