The mission of the Georgetown Sketch Comedy Society is to cultivate a space for young comedians to learn and write comedy together. The Georgetown Sketch Comedy Society is the only comedy-driven space on Georgetown's campus where students are able to write, produce, direct, cast, and act in comedy shows.

The mission of the Georgetown University Ballroom Dance Team is to promote ballroom dancing (both social and competitive) at Georgetown. The Team seeks to inspire a love of ballroom dancing in students by encouraging participation in lessons, socials, competitions, and performances.

GU Jawani is Georgetown University's Premier Bhangra Dance Team, made entirely of students. Our fundamental mission is to perform modern and traditional bhangra and spread Punjabi/South Asian culture on campus and in the DC Metro area. GU Jawani competes nationally and performs at some of DC's most prestigious venues and events, including performances at the International Monetary Fund, the Embassy of India, the Embassy of Pakistan, and the Verizon Center. We also perform at various events at Georgetown University such as Hoya Madness, Diaspora, GAAP weekends, and Georgetown day! No matter their background, Jawans love to have fun and spread culture through team performances!

GUerrilla Improv is an improvisational comedy group at Georgetown University. Our mission is to perform and educate Georgetown students about the fundamentals of improv while fostering a larger and more diverse comedy community at Georgetown.

We strive to offer free improv shows 2-3 times per semester and hold weekly Open Practices to provide opportunities for fellow Georgetown students to learn improv and make friends in a low-pressure comedic setting. All are absolutely welcome, regardless of skills, background, or previous improv experience. No auditions, no applications.

The South Asian Society (SAS) seeks to meet the social, cultural, and educational needs of all Hoyas with an interest in South Asia. SAS proudly celebrates the cultural, religious, and linguistic diversity of South Asia and seeks to raise awareness of South Asian cultures at Georgetown. SAS is committed to building a sense of community among its members and exists to provide a unified voice for South Asian interests on campus. South Asia includes, but is not limited to, the nations of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Established in 2018, Vibe_ is a dance crew at Georgetown University that seeks to connect Eastern and Western culture through dance and social events, stemming from the prospering Korean Pop culture which transcends international borders. With tenets of performance and community and comprised of members from all backgrounds and experience levels, Vibe_ serves as an inclusive and safe environment for all searching for a fun and integrative community that shares a passion for diversity, culture, and dance. By performing to East Asian music and showcasing choreographies created by Asian dancers, including K-pop, Vibe_ works to diversify the musical taste of its audience and provide a community on campus, all while giving an exciting and energetic performance.

We, the students at Georgetown University, have established a Vietnamese Student Association that strives to promote awareness of the Vietnamese-American culture, works toward the collective benefit of the Georgetown and Vietnamese American Community, welcomes cultural diversity, advocates for social justice, and raises a voice in global issues affecting the international Vietnamese community. Through our cultural events, we hope to bring a little bit of Vietnam to Georgetown, and through our philanthropic events, a little bit of Georgetown to Vietnam.
