The aim of the French Cultural Association is to promote interest in the French language and culture among Georgetown students and faculty. We strive to provide students of all different levels opportunities to practice their French with other French-speakers in a low-pressure and fun environment. If you are interested in this, ask us about our weekly drop-in conversation hour or our Language Buddies program! In addition, we host several events centered around French cuisine, art, cinema, and music throughout the semester.

The Georgetown International Relations Club (IRC) is the hub for all student-based international relations activity on campus. It is the main forum for Georgetown undergraduates to build upon their foreign affairs education outside of the classroom. There is a place for everyone in the IRC, regardless of what you formally study at Georgetown. Each year, we host a myriad of speaking, cultural, social, and philanthropic events. We are also home to the Georgetown Model United Nations traveling team, one of the country and world's most decorated collegiate Model United Nations programs.

QPOC as an organization seeks to facilitate conversations on what is pertinent to queer people of color ranging from identity politics to their experiences with family and friends, daily microaggressions, and/or verbal harassment. We seek to build community and thus welcome active and affirming allies.

QPOC also strives to be a welcoming and supportive addition to the plethora of Georgetown dialogues. In doing so, members build on the constructive conversations that can take place when enriched by queer people of color.

The European Club brings together Georgetown Europeans and Europhiles from all around the world. Our mission is to increase the understanding of the transatlantic relationship and associated issues in the Georgetown community through discussions with guest speakers, faculty, and club members. The Hawai'i Club is established for the purpose of preserving our heritage and sharing our Hawaiian Island culture with the Georgetown Community. The Hawai'i Club would provide services and undertake several projects each school year. The Georgetown University Hellenic Association brings together students of various backgrounds; some are international students from Greece, some are Greek-American, some are not ethnically Greek, some speak Greek, some do not - the one thing all Hellenic Association members have in common is a love of Greece and all things Greek!
Some of our past events have included lectures by prominent Greek-American professionals, Easter lamb roasts, traditional folk dance performances, Greek language coffee chats, community service projects, and cultural dinners. Our ╬ö¤ì╬¢╬▒╬╝╬À (Dynami) Greek dance troupe has performed at a variety of on and off-campus venues, such as the Embassy of Greece and even the Kennedy Center. We hope to offer many more exciting events in the future!

GU Jawani is Georgetown University's Premier Bhangra Dance Team, made entirely of students. Our fundamental mission is to perform modern and traditional bhangra and spread Punjabi/South Asian culture on campus and in the DC Metro area. GU Jawani competes nationally and performs at some of DC's most prestigious venues and events, including performances at the International Monetary Fund, the Embassy of India, the Embassy of Pakistan, and the Verizon Center. We also perform at various events at Georgetown University such as Hoya Madness, Diaspora, GAAP weekends, and Georgetown day! No matter their background, Jawans love to have fun and spread culture through team performances!

The Hong Kong Student Association (HKSA) is a cultural club at Georgetown University. Though we are under the Hong Kong title, we encompass Macau and Guangdong as well. GU Pride is committed to working towards a more just and open society in which all LGBTQ+ people fully accept themselves and are accepted by the world around them. For 30 years, Rangila has been Georgetown University's flagship cultural tradition. Organized by Georgetown's South Asian Society, Rangila is the largest charity dance showcase in the country.

Founded in 1995 with only 10 students, Rangila has grown to feature over 450 performers and bring in 1,500 attendees over two nights. This year's show will include nine fusion dances and a musical act.

Rangila is proud to partner with Little Sisters Fund, a philanthropic organization creating safety and opportunity for at-risk girls in Nepal to become empowered leaders through education, mentoring, and community support.

The South Asian Society (SAS) seeks to meet the social, cultural, and educational needs of all Hoyas with an interest in South Asia. SAS proudly celebrates the cultural, religious, and linguistic diversity of South Asia and seeks to raise awareness of South Asian cultures at Georgetown. SAS is committed to building a sense of community among its members and exists to provide a unified voice for South Asian interests on campus. South Asia includes, but is not limited to, the nations of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

SJP is a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, and community members at Georgetown University. Our group is organized according to democratic principles in order to promote justice, human rights, liberation, and self-determination for the Palestinian People.

As an advocacy group, SJP is committed to a core set of principles to which it expects its members to adhere. SJP believes that while the Palestinian people must ultimately be able to decide their future in Palestine, certain key principles, grounded in (a) international law, (b) human rights, and (c) basic standards of justice, are fundamental to a just resolution of the plight of the Palestinians. These include, but are not limited to, the full decolonization of all Palestinian lands, and the end of the Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Syrian Golan Heights. Furthermore, we advocate for the fulfillment of the right of return and repatriation of Palestinian refugees, as well as an end to the Israeli system of apartheid against the indigenous Palestinian population. Just as SJP condemns the oppression and discrimination underlying the policies and laws of the state of Israel, SJP rejects and condemns any form of hatred or discrimination against any religious, racial, national, or ethnic group. SJP is committed to fighting bigoted sentiments towards all marginalized students in the Georgetown community. Rooting its strength in the diversity of its membership, SJP welcomes individuals of all ethnic and religious backgrounds to join in solidarity with the struggle for justice in Palestine. SJP seeks to achieve these goals via educational events, advocacy, fundraisers, and direct action.

As a cultural group, SJP is dedicated to promoting Palestinian culture and the humanity of Palestinians. SJP holds that the appreciation and celebration of Palestinian history and culture is inextricably tied to the advocacy of Palestinian liberation. SJP seeks to achieve these goals via cultural events recognizing and celebrating Palestinian food, dance, arts, language, literature, and films. SJP actively encourages the Georgetown community to participate in this celebration in a manner which is non-appropriating.

Voting membership shall be limited to persons officially connected with the University, including enrolled full-time students, faculty, staff, and other community members. In addition, the following requirements are necessary to constitute voting membership:
a. Attendance at 75% of all meetings, events, and activities during a given semester.
b. Active participation in activities and events sponsored by SJP.

We are a student group dedicated to promoting Taiwanese culture through educational, social, and cultural events. Established in April 2008, TASA is open anyone who is interested in learning more about Taiwan. We are an official network under ITASA, the Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Student Association, a non-profit organization providing events and resources that explore and celebrate Taiwanese American identity.
Our mission is to: promote Taiwanese culture by showcasing its unique traditions through cultural, social, and educational activities and events in the general Georgetown community; cultivate friendship between students and scholars from Taiwan, or of Taiwanese background or interest; celebrate Taiwanese diversity in culture, heritage, and identity, both within and outside the Taiwanese community; advance the understanding of Taiwanese-related issues through conversation and serve as a point of resource to further develop interests; cultivate a culture of good citizenship, giving back and volunteerism in the Taiwanese student community; and build unity and strengthen relationships amongst Taiwanese student organizations, including promoting contact with alumni around the world.
