The mission of Georgetown University Campus Recreation at Yates Field House and Kehoe Field is to provide the Georgetown campus and surrounding community with fun, inclusive, engaging, and educational fitness and wellness programming that promotes personal growth and the development of lifelong skill sets.

Mission
CMEA enhances the education of students historically denied access to GU because of race, ethnicity, national origin, socioeconomic status, and other marginalized identities. To live out this mission, CMEA provides a variety of intentional and culturally-relevant programming, services, and opportunities to foster student success inside and outside of the classroom.

We actively promote unfettered access towards educational attainment and social prosperity for our diverse populations. At Georgetown, our learning communities thrive as a result of our commitments to equity, inclusion, social justice, and civic engagement. We stand committed to nurturing all aspects of students' development while engaging in difficult and challenging conversations and in thoughtful and intentional ways. Mission
Health Education Services (HES) is the primary campus provider of health education, and seeks to promote the health and well being of all students through care for the WHOLE Hoya: body, mind, and soul. HES has a mission of helping students feel empowered around their health and wellness.

Membership Benefits
HES offers consultation, networking, and advocacy for primary prevention, risk reduction, and disease prevention. We also provide confidential assessment, treatment, and/or referrals for students experiencing problems with substance abuse, eating disorders, sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, pregnancy, and health. We also connect students to other campus health professionals and members of the community at large.

HES provides regular educational outreach and consultation to students and others within the University. We often serve as the first point of contact for students who have problems but are not sure what to do or where to go. Students do not need a referral to seek services from a health professional in our office, and we do not charge for services.
