Active Minds is an organization devoted to reducing stigma surrounding mental health through the fostering of an open and genuine dialogue about mental health on Georgetown's campus. Georgetown students face many pressures and difficulties, and this club intends to connect students to resources and educational materials.

The GIVES mission is to fight Georgetown stress culture and stigmas about our student body. We welcome all with open arms and aim to make campus a better place through preforming Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs). GUMAPS is a program sponsored by the Student National Medical Association. SNMA is the oldest and largest medical student organization dedicated to underrepresented or underprivileged pre-health students and underserved communities. Committed to increasing the number of culturally capable and sensitive physicians, the SNMA is also dedicated to the academic and clinical success of medical students and pre-health students.

GUMAPS supports the fundamental academic and extracurricular requirements of pre-health students by
-facilitating participation in medical research through mentor-pairing
-increasing involvement within service projects and volunteer opportunities
-allotting tutors
-and assisting in the preparation for entrance exams of graduate health professional schools.

GUMAPS aims to increase awareness concerning ethnic health disparities worldwide, thereby ensuring a diverse range of future health professionals that are not only ethnically competent and culturally sensitive, but socially conscious as well.

Project Lighthouse is an anonymous, peer-to-peer support service developed in consultation of the Georgetown Counseling And Psychiatric Services (CAPS), the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Student Health, and Health Education Services (HES). Project Lighthouse provides an accessible resource for Hoyas to anonymously and confidentially voice their concerns to a sympathetic ear.

GUWOC is an organization that strives to address the experiences and uplift the voices of women of color at Georgetown. We are especially concerned with the intersection of race and gender and how that translates into the lives and experiences of women of color specifically as we navigate a predominantly white institution. Our organization hosts events and provides resources to create a community of women of color that is rooted in advocacy, support, and love.
